We are on the lookout for professionals with experience in the education or care sector to work at a fantastic SEN school based in the Ely area. The school caters for primary and secondary age pupils, with SEMH needs. Although classroom experience is desirable, we welcome applications from individuals who have SEN experience in another sector, or personal experience.
Immediate / January starts available.
About the position:
- Full-time.
- Monday to Friday, school hours – term time only.
- Training provided.
Typical duties include:
- Working with students who need additional support either on 1:1 basis or in small groups.
- Motivating and inspiring children to learn and participate in classroom activities.
- Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
- Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
- Prepare lesson resources.
- Support the class teacher to help ensure the day runs smoothly.
- Some personal care may be required in certain schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
