We are on the lookout for professionals with experience in the education or care sector to work with a Secondary school based on the outskirts of Cambridge.  Although classroom experience is desirable, we welcome applications from individuals who have experience in another sector, or personal experience.

Immediate / January starts available.

About the position:

  • Full-time.
  • Monday to Friday, school hours – term time only.
  • Training provided.

Typical duties include:

  • Working with students either on 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • You may be working on; intervention, behavioural or SEN support 
  • Motivating and inspiring children to learn and participate in classroom activities.
  • Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
  • Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
  • Prepare lesson resources.
  • Support the class teacher to help ensure the day runs smoothly.
  • Some personal care may be required in certain schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
