Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant (Start September)

The Role:

As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities.

• Work with small groups or individual pupils to assist their learning.

• Help prepare learning materials and set up classrooms.

• Provide additional support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or behavioural challenges.

• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, including lunch and break times.

Requirements:

• A genuine interest in working with children and young people.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students and staff.

• [Desirable] Experience working with children or in an educational setting (formal or informal).

• [Desirable] GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).

• Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
