Are you looking for an Introduction to Teaching?

Do you have the confidence to stand and deliver work to a class of pupils?

How would you like to be involved in Teaching without the pressures of planning and preparing work?

This Cover Supervisor role will be on a supply basis and provide support to multiple schools where there are teachers absent due to sickness. The role has a level of flexibility and can be a perfect option if you are looking for full time or part time work within a school setting.

The main responsibilities of this role are to ensure the pupils are engaged with the lesson that has been set and that classroom behaviour is managed throughout the lesson. For this role there is no planning required prior to supervising the classes as pre-work will have been set for the pupils by the teacher.

The successful Cover Supervisor will ideally have experience in a secondary school setting or have previous had supervisory roles which are able to be transferred into a school setting.

This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who is currently looking to apply for a PGCE and gain classroom experience or those who have been accepted on to the 2019 PGCE.
