Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools, Huddersfield
Pay: £95–£135 per day
Contract: Flexible / Temp / Ongoing
Start Date: September 2025

What you'll be doing:

Stepping into lessons across a range of subjects (no planning required!)

Delivering pre-set work and keeping students engaged
-
Managing behaviour in a calm, confident way

Building quick rapport with students while keeping things professional
Experience that works well in this role:
-
Sports coaching or youth work – if you can manage a football team, you can manage a class
-
Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor experience – already familiar with the school vibe? Even better
-
Drama, tutoring, Scouts/Guides leadership – anything that involves leading, guiding, and keeping young minds focused

Good sense of humour and a calm approach to challenges

Degree not essential, but it’s a bonus
