Job Title: Secondary Cover Supervisor
Location: Chipping Campden
Contract Type: Permanent / Temporary / Part-Time
Start Date: December 2025


About the Role:

We are seeking a confident and adaptable Secondary Cover Supervisor to join our team in Chipping Campden this December. If you have a strong grasp of core subjects and a genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning, this could be the ideal role for you.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, primarily across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll ensure that learning continues smoothly and that students remain engaged and on task.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects (mainly within KS3 and KS4)

  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour using clear and consistent behaviour policies

  • Follow cover instructions and lesson plans to ensure learning continuity

  • Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and school settings

  • Manage your schedule flexibly with control over your own calendar


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong understanding or experience in core subjects such as Maths, English, or Science

  • Confident classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills

  • Ability to engage students and keep them on track with learning

  • Organised, professional, and adaptable to changing school environments

  • Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential
