Here at Teaching Personnel we are in high demand for Tutors across the Teesside area to work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require extra help. This role lends the opportunity to run on a full time and part time basis. The schools we are working alongside are looking for passionate and professional individuals who will make a positive impact on the pupils and maximise their learning by working closely alongside them.

Responsibilities of this role will be:

• Plan and lead lessons of core subjects up to KS4
• Develop interesting and engaging lessons plans
• Motivate and encourage pupils
• Adapt to the schools curriculum to cater for the needs of all of the pupils who you are working with.

Your role as a Tutor will incorporate working closely with student's who need extra support and assistance and may have behavioural and social issues. The candidate should be able to assess the student's levels and work with them on a nurturing and understanding basis to improve and re-engage the student. You will work closely with students of all different abilities and skill sets in 1:1 or small groups, either within a school setting or at the pupils home.
