Job description

Job Title: Tutor - Maths and English

Location: Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

The main responsibilities of the Tutor will include providing tutoring in both Maths and English subjects to students. This involves creating lesson plans, delivering engaging and interactive lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to help improve their understanding and skills.

Required Qualifications:

1. A degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or a related field.

2. Teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent.

3. Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths and English.

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.

Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in Maths and English.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.

3. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Education or a related field.

2. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
