Are you looking for rewarding teaching work on a flexible basis, with vulnerable learners? If so, then tuition may be the role for you:
- One-to-One and Small Group Intervention Teaching
- Competitive hourly rate of pay
- Flexible work in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City
We work with a variety of Virtual Schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, who require us to recruit candidates who can support their Looked after Children.
They all have a shared aim of narrowing the gap' between the achievements of Looked after Children and their peers. The support will be not only be on a one-to-one basis but also in small groups across Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. The support will be carried out within the pupils care / foster home, within the classroom or within a sourced and risk assessed venue. Applicants will be responsible for liaising with the LAC Officer to plan and deliver a personalised tuition programme for Maths, English or both. Successful applicants will have their own transport and the flexibility to work mornings, afternoons or evenings.
The work is sessional and can be completely flexible depending on your availability and each individual student's needs.
