Tutors – Ealing
Teaching Personnel is looking for experienced tutors who can work with young people for the following two reasons:
- We support local authorities to put access to education in place for young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) and/or Looked After Children (LAC)
- We are an approved supplier of tutors for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) which involves tutoring the children who have most fallen behind in school due to covid-19
We therefore have opportunities for tutors to work across both primary and secondary age students, and across primarily English, maths and science (it would be beneficial if you could offer tuition for at least two out of the three).
Timings are generally flexible, we mostly receive requests for 2 hours or 3 hours per day per student, to be delivered in either the mornings (between 9am and 12pm) or the afternoons (between 12pm and 3pm).
Tuition is delivered Monday to Friday, and term time only.
GBP25/35hour pay rate – we are a PAYE company so we pay half of your national insurance contribution, plus we also pay a pension contribution for you as your direct employer.
Please apply today if you are interested in finding out more, and please attach your up to date CV.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
