Job description

Secondary ESOL Tutor – Worthing

Support Individual Learners. Make a Lasting Impact.

TP Tutors is recruiting compassionate Secondary ESOL Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition for children and young people across the Worthing area.

You'll support learners who speak English as an additional language, including those with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional educational needs, helping them develop English language skills, confidence and independence.

Your Role

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one ESOL tuition for secondary-aged learners
  • Adapt lessons to meet individual language and learning needs
  • Support speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
  • Encourage confidence, independence and positive learning habits
  • Record learner progress accurately
  • Build positive relationships with schools and families

Essential Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND and/or EAL learners
  • Background in education, tutoring, ESOL or mentoring
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
  • Ability to travel across the Worthing area
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
