TP Tutors is looking for dedicated Secondary English Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition for children and young people across the Worthing area.

Working with learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional educational needs, you'll deliver personalised English tuition that develops literacy, communication skills and confidence.

Your Role

• Deliver engaging one-to-one English tuition for secondary pupils
• Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
• Support reading, writing and language development
• Encourage independence and positive learning habits
• Record learner progress accurately
• Build positive relationships with schools and families

Essential Requirements

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
• Background in education, tutoring or mentoring
• Strong knowledge of secondary English
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures
• Ability to travel across the Worthing area
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
