Job description

1:1 Tutor – Wellingborough Area

Location: Wellingborough and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible, during school hours
Setting: Pupil's Home or School Environment
Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience

We are seeking dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Wellingborough area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing personalised educational support in either a school or home setting.

The Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Support pupils who may require additional academic, behavioural, or emotional support.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit different learning styles and abilities.
  • Track and report on pupil progress.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and educational professionals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or classroom support.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
