Job Title: SEN Outreach Tutor

£25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting
- Create and implement individualised learning plans to address specific learning challenges
- Deliver engaging and interactive teaching sessions to support academic progress and personal development
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with KS2 students with SEN
- Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, with flexibility required based on student needs
- Work primarily in homes or community locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
