Outstanding Tutors Wanted in Thame 

All Subject Specialisms | £20–£30 per hour | QTS or 5+ Years’ Experience Required

About the Role

We are looking for passionate tutors from all specialist subject backgrounds to support students of all ages and abilities across Thame. Whether your forte is Maths, English, Science, Languages, Humanities, or the Arts, your unique skills are in demand.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assessing students’ starting points and learning needs
  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons that make a real impact
  • Creating a motivating, supportive environment for academic and personal growth
  • Monitoring progress and adapting your approach as needed
  • Communicating effectively with families and colleagues

About You

You’re an engaging, resourceful educator who can:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver a bespoke scheme of work
  • Adapt your teaching style to suit a wide range of learners
  • Communicate with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
  • Foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning

You must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching or tutoring. Enhanced DBS required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
