Job description

Tutor – Somerset

£20–£30 per hour | Flexible Hours | Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Tutor to join our team in Somerset. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality, tailored educational support to students across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Plan and prepare bespoke schemes of work and lesson plans.
  • Deliver engaging 1:1 or small group sessions, either in-person or online.
  • Monitor and review student progress, adapting teaching approaches accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to students and families.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching or tutoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and deliver personalised learning programmes.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven commitment to supporting children’s educational development.
  • A flexible, proactive, and professional approach to tutoring.
