Tutor required for 1:1 teaching in Scarborough.

  • Tutor required for 1:1 tuition during School Hours in Scarborough
  • Central Scarborough School with a successful outreach department
  • On a supply basis with flexible working hours

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a client School that provides education for students either excluded from mainstream education, or unable to access mainstream education. The School know that not all students are suited to a full time School placement, so provide a successful and efficient outreach service, led by the School's Tuition Co-Ordinator. All of the School's pupils are Key Stage 3 or 4 and outreach tuition is delivered on a 1:1 basis. You will be provided with a full and detailed risk assessment, including academic levels and learning resources. As you will the student's only source of educator, you will need to include basic English, Maths and Science in their lessons.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
