Job description

Tutor – Primary or Secondary | Reading | £20–£30 per hour | Flexible Hours

We are seeking experienced and passionate Tutors to support students across Reading on a flexible, part-time basis.

Key Details:

  • Location: Reading and surrounding areas

  • Rate: £20–£30 per hour (dependent on experience)

  • Hours: Flexible – weekday, evening, and weekend options available

  • Students: Primary or Secondary aged, including those with SEN, SEMH, or LAC backgrounds

Requirements:

  • QTS or minimum 3 years’ experience in teaching/tutoring

  • Experience supporting students with SEN (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia) or SEMH (e.g. anxiety, low confidence)

  • Strong relationship-building skills

  • Confident in assessing, planning, and delivering tailored schemes of work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
