✨ Teach with Purpose | Join TP Tutors as a General Educator (with SEN/SEND 1:1 Opportunities!)

Are you a passionate educator who believes in meeting learners where they are? Do you love seeing students grow in confidence—whether they need extra academic support or more tailored, one-to-one guidance?

At TP Tutors, we’re looking for enthusiastic, adaptable, and compassionate educators to join our team. Whether your strength is in core subjects like Maths and English, or in building meaningful connections with learners who need a little extra support, we’d love to hear from you!

Position: General Tutor (Open to SEN/SEND 1:1)

Location: Nationwide – Online & In-Person Options Available
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time – You set your schedule

About TP Tutors

At TP Tutors, we believe education is for every child. We support learners across the UK by providing high-quality tuition—sometimes to help catch up in core subjects, and often to offer tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our tutors work in a range of settings: from mainstream school students needing extra guidance, to one-on-one sessions for learners with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, or other additional needs.

If you’re a great communicator, a flexible thinker, and passionate about inclusive education—we want to hear from you.

In This Role, You’ll:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group tuition in Maths, English, or general primary/secondary subjects

  • Deliver personalised lessons that suit each learner’s pace, goals, and learning style

  • Support children with SEND when needed, using empathetic, accessible teaching strategies

  • Create a calm, positive, and encouraging learning environment

  • Track progress and communicate with families, schools, and our team

  • Work independently, while being part of a supportive nationwide network

We’re Looking For Educators Who:

  • Are confident teaching across core subjects or key stages (Primary or Secondary)

  • Have experience working in mainstream or SEN/SEND settings

  • Are adaptable, patient, and able to differentiate instruction effectively

  • Have strong communication skills and a learner-first mindset

  • Hold a teaching qualification, tutoring experience, or relevant background in education (QTS/QTLS a bonus, but not required)

Why Join TP Tutors?

  • Flexible working – choose your hours and locations

  • Competitive rates of pay

  • Ongoing training and development, especially around SEND strategies

  • A chance to make a genuine difference in a child’s educational journey

  • A supportive, inclusive team that values your experience and insight

If you’re ready to empower learners of all abilities and make a lasting impact through 1:1 or small group tuition, we’d love to welcome you to TP Tutors.
