About the Role

We are seeking experienced and dedicated One-to-One Tutors to provide tailored educational support to pupils in the Peterborough area. Tuition sessions will take place either in the pupil's home or within a school setting during school hours.

This rewarding role involves supporting learners who may require additional academic assistance, helping them build confidence and achieve their educational goals.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school, college, tutoring, or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Experience delivering personalised learning and adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to travel to pupils' homes and school settings within the Peterborough area.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND, SEMH, EAL, or learners who require additional support.
• Experience delivering one-to-one tuition.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to each learner's needs.
• Support pupils in achieving academic and personal learning objectives.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of tuition sessions.
• Liaise professionally with schools, parents/carers, and the tuition provider.
• Adhere to safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
