Job description

Primary Tutor (FQT) – Hull | £25–£30/hr | 1:1 and In-School Intervention

TP Tutors is looking for experienced Primary Teachers in the Hull area to provide 1:1 and small group tuition that bridges learning gaps and boosts confidence — especially for pupils who may have fallen behind or need a little more than the classroom can offer.

Whether it’s reading fluency, early maths skills, or preparing pupils for SATs, your expertise can have a real and immediate impact on a child’s academic progress and self-belief.

What You’ll Support:

  • KS1 and KS2 learners in Maths and English

  • Tuition delivered in schools, homes, or local libraries

  • Pupils with gaps in phonics, comprehension, number fluency, or writing structure

  • Children with low confidence, low attendance, or mild SEND

  • Flexible slots during school hours or after school

We’re Looking For:

  • QTS and experience delivering the primary national curriculum

  • A nurturing, adaptable approach

  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)

  • Up-to-date safeguarding

  • A car and driving licence is useful, especially for home-based sessions
