Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students
- Develop individualised learning plans to support students' academic progress
- Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives
- Monitor and assess student performance to adjust teaching strategies as needed
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level

Minimum of a degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Proven experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum for English and Maths
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their potential
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience in providing outreach or remote tuition
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, with flexibility required based on student needs
- Work primarily in learners homes, local libraries or schools
- Potential travel within the East of England region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
