Job description
TP Tutors (part of Teaching Personnel) are working with local authorities to provide 1:1 tuition to children in care in the Daventry.
We have seen an increase in tuition requests to support pupils ahead of their GCSE’s and core subject specialists would be beneficial to fulfil current demand. However, we do also cater to KS1 and KS2 pupils so welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
The role of a Core Subjects Tutor:
- Providing 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English or Primary)
- Planning individualised programmes of learning
- Tutoring within the home environment
- Tailoring your approach – supporting children to learn and progress at their own pace.
The requirements for the role of a Core Subjects Tutor:
- Hold a QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching certificate.
- At least a minimum of two years previous teaching experience
- Experience working with either primary or secondary pupils.
- Have some experience working with young people with SEN (desirable)

- Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.
- Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
