You could be providing quality tutoring to pupils in your region whilst being offered flexible hours and competitive rates of pay between £25 – 30 an hour. At TP Tutors we have an exciting opportunity to help young children in Northampton working at a KS2 level.
What is required for the KS2 Tutor role:
- The right to work in the UK.
- Six months minimum teaching experience
- Experience teaching pupils working at a KS2 level.
- Have a DBS already on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new application.
- Ability to develop effective behaviour management strategies and coping mechanisms.
- Apply skills to raise children’s confidence within their learning.
This KS2 tutor role involves:
- Plan, create and teach engaging sessions based around the child’s needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects.
- Working with children with potentially challenging behavioural needs and using different strategies to ensure their needs are met.
- Track progress and plan next steps in learning.
- Inspire children to achieve and keep them engaged ensuring they can access the learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
