Trainee Teaching Assistant

An OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ school in Bedminster requires a trainee Teaching Assistant to start a Trainee Teaching Assistant.  If you have ever thought about Teaching as a career opportunity this is a great access route into Teaching. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday and is due to start in September. This role will involve being a general classroom assistant including gathering resources and preparing activities for each lesson, you may also be involved in supporting small groups and individual students who need additional support giving you a well-rounded experience of working within a school. This school is warm, friendly and incredibly supportive and will dedicate a lot of time to the right candidate so you can reach you full potential.

This school is looking for a trainee Teaching Assistant with some basic experience working with children, either within an educational setting or outside of education that they can support with CPD training and with some mentoring.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have some basic experience supporting children within education and in alternative provisions
  • Is reliable and committed
  • In enthusiastic and engaging
  • Is passionate about progressing a career in education
