Trainee Teaching Assistant

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to support children with special educational needs (SEN). As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will receive high-quality training while gaining valuable on-the-job experience. This position is perfect for those who have a love for helping others but may not have previous experience or qualifications in education.

We are working with a number of Secondary Schools based in Trafford, and ideally candidates would be able to commute to Stretford, Urmston, Sale and Altrincham.

This role will start in September and run full time until July 2027.

Role highlights:

-          Earning potential up to £114 per day

-          Client schools all have secure car parks and good transport links

-          Working hours 8am – 4pm

-          Gain experience working in a large, diverse and busy school setting

-          Making a difference supporting SEN students

Essential candidate requirements:

-          The ability to be flexible and work closely with all school departments to identify and help those students that need additional support.

-          It is essential that applicants are able to build relationships and connect with a variety of students from different backgrounds.

-          Candidates must be organised and have experience supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
