Trainee Teacher Opportunity – Fully Funded Teacher Training Programme

Are you a graduate with experience working in primary schools and a passion for supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
This is a unique opportunity to begin your journey towards becoming a qualified teacher through a fully funded, salaried teacher training programme within a specialist primary SEMH setting in Bournemouth.

About the Role
You will join a supportive and experienced primary SEMH school team, working full-time alongside skilled educators while completing your teacher training.
Through this salaried route into teaching, you will:
- Gain valuable hands-on classroom experience from day one
- Receive ongoing support and mentoring from experienced teachers
- Complete a fully funded teacher training programme
- Achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Following successful completion of the training year, candidates will continue their journey within the school as a qualified teacher for a further two years.

Person Specification
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a degree in any subject
- Have previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
- Have a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
- Are passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Are committed to becoming an outstanding teacher
- Demonstrate resilience, empathy and excellent communication skills
Important Information
- Start Date: September
- Location: Bournemouth
- Contract Commitment: 3 years (1 year training + 2 years post-qualification)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
