Teaching Assistant – Carmarthenshire Area

 

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Flexible Hours |

 

Location: Carmarthenshire

 

Salary: £89.38 Daily Rate

 

Time: 8:30am- 3:30pm (might vary slightly depending on the school)

We’re looking for experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a network of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Carmarthenshire.

 

Whether you're looking for full-time stability or part-time flexibility, this is an opportunity to be part of something meaningful — supporting learners, working closely with teaching staff, and helping shape the classroom experience.

 


 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Previous experience in an educational setting or experience in a role with transferable skills- No experience? Still apply let’s get you started on your journey!
  • Confidence supporting pupils with varying needs, including those with ALN
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and a nurturing approach
  • Flexible and reliable – able to adapt to different school environments
  • Willing to travel up to 30+ minutes from home
  • Access to your own transport is essential

 


 

Desirable (but not essential):

 

  • Welsh speaker – schools value bilingual support
  • Knowledge of the Foundation Phase, Key Stages, or SEN strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
