Job description

Full Time LSA – SEN School – Southampton
Through Teaching Personnel | Permanent Opportunity | Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a full time Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist SEN school in Southampton. This role is 5 days per week and is ideal for someone looking to secure a permanent contract.

You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex needs, both 1:1 and in small groups, working closely with teachers and therapy staff.

Experience is desirable in areas such as:

  • Autism awareness

  • Supporting complex medical needs

  • Hoist use and manual handling

  • First Aid

  • Occupational Therapy support

  • PEG feeding

  • Personal care

We are looking for someone reliable, patient and passionate about working in SEN, who can commit to a full time role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
