Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants for a PRU in the Withington area. The school caters for children aged 5-11. Most pupils at this school have been excluded from mainstream schools and many live with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Due to the needs of the pupils within this school, the ideal candidate will be:

• Committed to providing a friendly and familiar face to the pupils
• Prepared to deal with difficult situations with patience and calm
• Able to handle challenging behaviour

The school prides itself on bringing out the very best of it's pupils through quality first teaching and support from Teaching Assistants. The school aims to meet the needs of our pupils through a team approach, with weekly access to a fantastic team of professionals including drama and play therapists, educational psychologists, school nurse and Speech and Language therapists.
