Teaching Assistants WANTED!

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants in and around the Exeter, Devon area, with roles looking to start as soon as possible. This is an ideal opportunity for anybody who has some experience of supporting pupils whether that's paid or voluntary and is now looking to further their career within the SEN Education sector.

Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will range from day to day and include -

• Working with identified pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to help raise attainment in core subject areas who struggle to engage.
• Building strong working relationships with Teachers and other support staff to ensure the highest level of support is provided to pupils.
• Monitoring behaviour and keeping disruption to low levels.
• Be able to adapt to different situations every day.
• Be an enthusiastic person with a never say die attitude.
• Have a passion for children who can't access a mainstream education.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
