Teaching Assistants required (SEN School, Cranleigh)

The School

The school is a co-educational residential and day school catering for children between the ages of 5 - 19 with moderate, complex and severe learning difficulties. It has excellent provision for learners who are on the Autistic Spectrum. The school has developed excellent provision for learners with communication and interaction difficulties and in 2009 achieved specialist status in the SEN area of Communication and Interaction. They have a purpose built therapies centre which was completed in 2011. The school is non-maintained and has full DCSF approval - they currently deal with around 20 local authorities and have built up a wide reputation for high quality provision for learners with complex special needs.

You We are looking to recruit an open minded, hard working and passionate Teaching Assistant to support across the school.

Role The positions are term time only, you must be able to demonstrate a passion for working in a special school setting and with young children with complex needs. We are committed to staff development so will help you to develop your skills and expertise.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
