About the role
-Primary Teaching Assistants (required across Cardiff and the Vale)
-ASAP start until the end of summer term 2025 and from September
-Ad hoc / supply work available, as well as mid/long term temporary assignments and also longer term and permanent work is also open to everyone
-Pay rate starts at £90 per day, for mid/longterm positions we always negotiate with the school directly to try and get you paid higher
-Weekly pay every Friday
About the schools
-Small / medium rural Primary schools available, as well as larger more intercity schools, depending on what you prefer. We work to YOUR preferences
-Most schools have excellent transport links by bus / train and access to free parking
-You can choose where you teach within the schools – choose from Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
-We also have a large need within Primary schools for SEND specialists with plenty of them having Additional / Specialist Resource Bases
About you
-You will need to have either a Teaching Assistant qualification OR at least 3 months experience working with children which is referenceable
-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
