Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel are the market leader in education recruitment and our Manchester branches are currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants. Your role will be to support in primary schools. We currently have 3 branches that support primary schools in Manchester, Salford, Bury, Bolton, Wigan, Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside, Stockport and Trafford.
How does Teaching Personnel work?
We support schools with their recruitment on both a day-to-day and longer term/permanent basis. Day to day cover can be pre planned or on the day bookings covering school staff. Long term/Permanent roles can range from a few weeks to full academic year. You can pick and choose where and when you work. You have a dedicated Recruitment Consultant who will take you through the recruitment process and be your port of call. They will then actively find you work. You have access to an online system, including an online diary whereby you can update your availability.
Ideally we would prefer our candidates to have relevant child based qualifications, however the only qualifications that are essential are GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above. Experience would be preferred but we do encourage applications from those with transferable skill sets such as Support Workers, Nurses, Childminders, Sport Coaches and others. All candidates must have a minimum availability of 2 days per week and be prepared to apply for a DBS on the update service and provide reference details. We would prefer TAs to have experience and qualifications, however we are also open to talking to those who simply have the right attitude and work ethic.
If you are interested in joining our team please apply and send an updated CV. If you would like more information please call in on 0161 242 1792.
