Job description

Job role: Teaching assistant

Hours: 8:30-3:30 five days a week

Location:  Daventry

Teaching Personnel sre dedictaed to providing excellent education and support to students. We are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work either as a general TA to support in the classroom / to work as a !:! for students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with lessons and activities
  • Work in small groups / with individuals
  • Help manage the classroom and prepare equipment for lessons
  • Encourage and provide an enagaging learning environment
  • Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies to ensure a safe learning environment is provided for all students and staff
  • Monitor and give feedback on students progress

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience as a teaching assistant or a similar role
  • Enthuasism for education and helping students to be successful
  • Good communication skills
  • Approachable and friendly
  • A Child Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one)
  • Good time management
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Teaching Assistant) if possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
