Teaching Assistant Required in Yate

A Secondary school in Yate is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their SEN department on a part time basis. This role is to begin immediately.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be supporting a Year 8 student on a 1:1 basis. The student is disengaged in their studies and needs support both in the classroom and mentoring sessions outside of lessons.

The school are ideally seeking a Teaching Assistant that is experienced supporting students with Special Educational Needs.

This is a part time role and the school are willing to be flexible with the hours you will be working.

The daily pay rate for this role is between £57-£65 a day (dependant on your experience).

About the School:

You will be joining a very successful SEN department in which you will be fully supported by the SENCO and other school staff. The school is actually the county facility for students with a physical disability. This includes a resource base and all classrooms have access by ramps; there are adapted toilets, a lift and washing facilities.
