Teaching Assistant - Term Time (Sittingbourne)

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with an outstanding special school located in Sittingbourne that serves pupils with profound, severe and complex needs including autism.

The school currently has approximately 270 pupils comprised of Lower School which includes an Observation and Assessment Nursery, Secondary Department, and 6th Form. The school also has a highly regarded inclusion and outreach service which successfully supports over 60 schools and 70 settings across Swale, increasing capacity to meet the needs of pupils with additional needs.

We are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants, to meet the educational, health and wellbeing needs of the schools pupils with profound, severe and complex needs including autism.

We require Teaching Assistants to work as part of a team of adults in each class. Some experience of working with pupils with special educational needs would be an advantage, though not essential, as training will be given. The successful candidate could be required to work anywhere across the school.
