Teaching Personnel is experiencing an increasing demand for teaching assistants throughout our client schools in Sunderland. The role would entail providing extra support for students during lesson time, under the supervision of the teacher. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who have recently graduated and/or have limited experience in a classroom.

OVERVIEW

• Full and part-time roles available
• Providing tailored support, both to individual pupils and to smaller groups
• Supporting students in the completion of class work, ensuring to break down challenging tasks in a way that is comprehensible
• Collaborating with the teacher to produce engaging teaching activities for pupils
• Working alongside the teacher to produce tailored plans for disadvantaged students
