We are looking for driven, passionate and qualified Teaching assistants to join one of our Specialist SEN secondary schools in the Bolton area where you will make a positive impact by supporting young people with complex needs, Autism, ADHD, non-verbal and behavioural challenges.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will
Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment
Provide 1:1 support or small group sessions to aid students with their academic, emotional and communication needs
Support in behaviour management and de-escalation
Encourage pupils with their engagement and confidence
Work to support students in accordance to their EHCP
Adapt activities to best suit individual children’s needs when required
Who we are looking for
Someone who has a resilient, patient and compassionate approach
Someone who has prior experience working with children/vulnerable adults with SEN needs
Some one who has strong communication and relationship building skills
Someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
