Are you passionate about supporting children in education?
Do you want to work in a rewarding and friendly environment?
We are recruiting teaching assistants for a SEN school in Reading, which supports children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Special educational needs schools support children who find it harder to learn than most children of the same age. Because of this, the classes are smaller than a mainstream setting, and the amount of staff around to support is often more.

The role of a Teaching assistant in SEN:
- Providing 1:1 support and or general classroom support to students
- Encouraging children's confidence, self esteem and independence.
- Supporting children in social activities and play
- Recognising signs of distress in children and offering reassurance

The ideal candidates/desired skills and experience:
- Great communication skills
- Have a nurturing approach
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Engaging Personality
If you feel like you have these qualities or more, please get in contact, we would love to hear from you.
