Join a Supportive and Inclusive Secondary School in Stubbington

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and committed support team at a thriving 11–16 mainstream secondary school in the heart of Stubbington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential — both in the classroom and beyond. The role offers variety and reward, with opportunities to support students across a broad curriculum and to work with young people who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Whether you have experience working in mainstream education or are seeking to develop your skills in SEN support within a mainstream setting, we would love to hear from you.

The Role Includes:

  • Supporting teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons

  • Working with individuals or small groups to support learning and engagement

  • Assisting students with a range of needs, including those with EHCPs

  • Supporting behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social development

  • Preparing resources and helping maintain a purposeful learning environment

  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is passionate about education and making a difference in young people’s lives

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Can demonstrate patience, resilience, and a flexible approach

  • Ideally has experience working with young people aged 11–16

  • Has experience or a keen interest in supporting students with SEN

  • Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, SEN training) – desirable but not essential

We Offer:

  • A welcoming and supportive team environment

  • Ongoing professional development and training

  • Opportunities to work in both general classroom and SEN support roles

  • A school community that values inclusion, kindness, and high expectations

  • Convenient location in Stubbington with good transport links and on-site parking

How to Apply:

If you're ready to make a positive impact and become part of a dedicated and caring team, we would love to hear from you.
