The Role:

• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating, and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
• Set high expectations with all students
• Differentiate work for designated students, ensuring they are achieving a good level of progress
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom
• Work closely within the SEND department and the wider staff

Teaching assistant Requirements:

• Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
• Committed to achieving high standards of learning and behaviour for all children
• Working with pupils in a classroom environment, with an opportunity to gain valuable experience.
• 1 year experience working with children or young adults
• Committed, professional, team player
• The successful candidate will have experience in supporting secondary pupils on both a 1:1 basis as well as supporting in small groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
