Teaching Assistant Required in Behavioural School, Liverpool

  • Do you have a sports background or an interest in sports?

My school is a school that provides education for pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties from Years 7 to 11. There are two sites to this school and the school are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work in the PE department for their East Liverpool site. The pupils at this school do have very challenging behaviour and so any TAs who are interested need to be able to manage verbal and physical aggression. You do not need to have experience of working within a SEN school however you do need to have experience of working in a school or setting with challenging children or adults.

The type of person who usually gets on well at this school comes from one of the following backgrounds: youth work, social work, sports, psychology. This person doesn't need a degree in Sports or PE but having a sports background or interest in sports and the ability to work in the PE department will be beneficial.
