Salary: £77-100 per day

We at Teaching Personnel are collaborating with schools in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire to recruit a Psychology Graduate who is looking to become a Teaching Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity for psychology graduates to apply their knowledge in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Support classroom activities, working alongside teachers to enhance the learning experience for students.
• Provide targeted assistance to students with varying learning needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Utilize your understanding of psychology to contribute to the development and implementation of effective teaching strategies.
• Assist in the identification and support of students with additional educational needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive and engaging atmosphere within the classroom.

Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Passion for applying psychological principles to support students' educational and emotional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow within an educational setting.
• Previous experience in a school or educational environment is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Psychology or a related field.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
