Teaching Assistant – Flexible Cover Role
Are you a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Newton Abbot? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to support multiple schools on a cover basis, with the potential for a full-time role.
About the Role:
- Flexible cover opportunities in primary and secondary schools across Newton Abbot
- Support children’s learning and development in a variety of classroom settings
- Work alongside teachers to provide tailored support for individuals and small groups
- Assist with classroom management and create a positive learning environment
- Choose the days that suit you, with the potential for a long-term or full-time role
About You:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting (or relevant transferable skills)
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different schools
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
