Teaching Personnel is proud to be working closely with a nurturing and well-organised school who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a real difference to children’s learning every day.

  • Start Date: February 2026

  • Location: Tiverton, Devon

  • Contract Type: Part time 

  • Pay Rate: £90–£100 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school where teamwork, kindness, and inclusion are truly valued. As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work 2-4 days per week, providing consistency and stability

  • Support pupils across the classroom, in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis

  • Help children stay engaged, confident, and happy in their learning

  • Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons


✨ Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning across the curriculum

  • Assisting with classroom organisation and daily routines

  • Supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development

  • Upholding safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing


Who We’re Looking For:

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual

  • Experienced or interested in working as a Teaching Assistant (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)

  • Passionate about helping children reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
