SEN Teaching Assistant - Newham

£90 per day ( Depending on experience )

ASAP Start/ Full Time/ Term Time

School Information

The school caters for early years, primary and secondary aged students who have severe and profound learning difficulties, some have additional complex medical and physical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Teaching Assistant within the classroom
  • Teaching Assistants might be assigned to a student on a one-to-one basis
  • Teaching Assistants might be expected to do personal care
  • Teachings Assistants might be asked to do lunch duty

Ideal skills and requirements:

  • A good understanding or passionate about SEN
  • Qualifications needed GCSE and above.
  • Experience working with children in any setting.
  • Contribute an enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
  • Be pro-active, professional and caring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
