Teaching Assistant, Liverpool

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant for an "Outstanding" all girls secondary catholic school in Liverpool. This is to work 1:1 with a pupil in KS3 who is struggling to maintain concentration in class and needs additional support both educationally and emotionally. This is to start as soon as possible and is a short term position.

The school is located just off the M57 with on site parking for teaching assistants who drive. Alternatively, there are bus stops within walking distance to the school.

Responsibilities
*To encourage pupil to join in with all activities and to take a full and active part in school life.
*To prepare, modify and adapt resources and learning materials for the pupil as agreed with the class teacher and other professionals.
*To assist in resolving any behavioural, social and emotional difficulties which may arise.
*To encourage the pupil to develop a positive self image, and to develop confidence in their abilities and communication with others.
