Teaching Assistant Level 3

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a School in East Sussex to recruit a TA 3 to work in KS2.

The school is 2 form entry and has a good reputation in the community, with a recent grade of 'Good' from Ofsted, with Outstanding features. They pride themselves on having good behaviour throughout the school, with a strong teaching and staffing team and a nurturing approach to the pupils' education.

The school grounds are located in a residential area, with easy access by public transport and free roadside parking.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in KS2, you must be confident in the following tasks:

• Assisting pupils with literacy and numeracy at Year 3 level and above
• Taking small groups out of the classroom to focus on specific subject areas
• Taking the class ocassionally in the case of teacher absence/meetings
• Assisting with pupils 1:1 who have additional needs

The ideal candidate would have:

• Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Excellent organisational skills
• A positive attitude with the motivation to work independently
• A high level of professionalism and punctuality
• Good knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum
