The Role

The academy are looking to recruit a resilient candidate who will be able to support the students on an ongoing basis with their emotional needs, as well as help deliver a specially structured curriculum. Candidates will need to have a passionate and caring personality and be adaptable to changes in behaviour.

Ideally, candidates should have some form of de-escalation/restraint training (Team-teach - can be provided by Teaching Personnel), an understanding of crisis-prevention techniques, experience working with vulnerable young people or people with mental health issues.
All relevant experience will be considered.
Candidates should expect to also be required to deliver 1:1 education, classroom support and general mentoring.

Candidates interested in the role should forward their CV to the given address for their application to be considered. All successful applicants will receive a call from a consultant explaining the following process.

Please be aware, all candidates should have a child workforce only registered DBS, or be willing to apply for one.
